Who we are.
The origins of Novia Media were born from years of brainstorming by Scott Demeules and Trevor Wong. Founded in 2020, we hope to connect Vancouver Island by harnessing the power of the latest advancements in technology. Whether it's refreshing an existing website, or shooting a video for social media, we are constantly updating our formula to provide something unique. Feel free to ask us as many questions as you would like, we love to talk about our passion.
Scott Demeules
Scott Demeules graduated from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2016. He completed the Digital Media and Information Technology (DMIT) program, and specialized in Web Design and Development. He then continued on to work for a few start-ups before deciding to start a business of his own.
Trevor Wong
Trevor Wong has an accomplished list of customer service and sales experience, including working as an account manager for various companies such as Red Bull. He has completed schooling for insurance sales, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the financial aspects and the business operations here at Novia Media.
What we want.
We aim to create a media business here in Victoria that offers high quality services for businesses, freelancers, and artists. We are also hoping to provide a place to learn for those who lack the 'experience' required to the land the jobs that would provide such experience. We are firm believers that the end result is what should be judged, as the process can always be streamlined.
Our dream is still blossoming.
If there is one thing that we have already learned in this short period of time, it's that the expectation of what things will be like initially is far from reality. As new doors begin to open, and other ideas fail to achieve the expected results, the ever-evolving path leads us down unexpected roads. In the end, however, it always seems to work out for the best. This keeps us excited for the future.
